Introduction

Taoglas Genesis GEN.4.4C is a 4-in-1 external antenna series designed to consolidate wideband cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity into a single low-profile assembly. Covering 617MHz to 7125MHz, the series supports 5G, 4G/LTE, and Wi-Fi 6E frequency ranges while using an adhesive-mounted, IP67-rated enclosure suited to exposed or space-constrained installations.

The combination of four antenna elements, integrated 2m low-loss cables, and SMA male connectors can simplify the physical integration of multi-radio equipment compared with routing separate external antennas.

What it does

The GEN.4.4C series provides omni-directional, linearly polarized RF coverage across a broad 617MHz to 7125MHz range. Its 4-in-1 configuration is intended for systems requiring multiple cellular and/or Wi-Fi antenna connections from one compact external housing.

Each assembly includes 2m TGC-200 low-loss cables terminated in SMA(M) connectors. The antenna has a 50Ω impedance and supports up to 10W input power. Published performance figures include up to 67.1% efficiency, with average gain specified from -17.3dB to -5.11dB and peak gain from -1.33dBi to 8.50dBi across its supported frequency coverage.

The enclosure measures 205mm × 68mm × 12.5mm, providing a relatively thin antenna profile. Its IP67 rating and -40°C to +85°C operating-temperature range support integration in equipment that may encounter dust, water exposure, and broad environmental temperature variation.

Design considerations

Four integrated 2m cables provide installation reach but also require room for routing and connector management. The SMA(M) terminations should be matched to the RF ports or any required adapters in the host system. As a 50Ω antenna assembly, it is intended for use with 50Ω RF interfaces.

The IP67 enclosure rating is relevant to installations exposed to dust or water, while the specified -40°C to +85°C operating range should be considered against the expected environment.
